Remember this, God chastens and humbles those whom He loves. Thank God for His correction and His refining work. It shows God is moving and and present in your life and that you are not a dead, dry and lukewarm Christian. I would be worried if I as a Christian wasn't being corrected by God. A Christian who puts his life to the threshing floor is sure to be refined. Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing.
