Paul Washer and Justin Peters in the UK

Good news (but definately not better news than the Good News of Jesus Christ). This November (2009) the Martin Lloyd-Jones Recording Trust is hosting a conference called the ‘Men’s Ministry Conference – Biblical Manhood/A Call to Discernment’. Amongst the speakers are Paul Washer (HeartCry Missionary Society) and Justin Peters (Justin Peters Ministries).

If you haven’t heard the preaching of Paul Washer, then you ought to. If you want to hear the Gospel message with clarity and like a preacher with fire in his bone, then Paul Washer’s your man. You can be sure that you will not get a diluted message with Paul Washer. You can download Paul’s sermons from Sermon Index (www.sermonindex.net).

I don’t know too much about the ministry of Justin Peters, but from what I’ve heard he is a very sound brother who loves God and His truth and has a powerful testimony. He has a strong calling on his life to speak the truth and Biblically expose error in the Church which professes to be Christianity. In particular Justin has been used of God to expose the Word of Faith movement and the ‘prosperity Gospel’. Both preachers have been speaking at around the UK this November. We got to meet brother Paul at the Wales Revival Conferenec 2009 in Loughor, Wales. He was also on Genesis TV speaking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The conference is taking place in Ashford Kent and MLJ staff have advised to book tickets asap as they are going quickly.

My earnest prayer is that the Lord raises up similar preachers in Great Britain again. I am certain there are already, just hidden away, faithfully doing what the Lord has told them to do.

I have to say, I personally can’t wait for this event. I’m not too big on conferences. We seem to have a conference for everything these days. But this conference, I’m certain will be something different.
