Hmmmm...interesting but the question I have often pondered over is why do we as born-again's continue wearing clothes when Christ has lifted our shame and becaue of Him we are no longer ashamed?
Infact as belivers in Christ, born of a second birth by the spirit is it wrong for us to still refer to ourselves as sinners?
I was a murderer, prosititute, liar, theif and so much more and this why was I needed Christ and He came to die for me but in Ephesians 5:5, 1 Corint 6:9-11, Galatians 5:19-21 and Reve 21:8, we are told that such people will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Not so long ago I was discussing with someone very close to me how sexual immorality is sin. This peron then retorted by reminding me that the very thing I'm 'preaching' against is what they know I use to do before so in essence I had no right to say anything on this but my response was what is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "in Christ I am a new creation and old things have passed away."
Also Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ who lives in me." So is it wrong that we still 'wear clothes'which translates to christians still referring to themselves as sinners?
