Who, What, Where, Why, When?
It’s been a while since I last wrote a more general blog post. Whilst I’ve been busy writing and publishing theological sermons and teachings, I haven’t had a chance to freely blog. I kind of miss doing that actually, because it’s often the more general writing and day to day happenings where I get to share my thoughts on God’s glory and His working in my life. I’m hoping to do much more general à la carte type of blogging from now on and perhaps find another solution to publishing sermons and teaching notes. But it’s great, I love writing for God and proclaiming the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Is there anything more joyous than meditating on the Son?
Church Plant
You may have also noticed that all the latest additions to the website have been to do with the ‘Only Truly God’ Bible study series we have been conducting here in West London, Uxbridge. Well, this Bible study series has now come to an end and as a result, a new church plant will be forming to continue the fellowship of the saints and the worship of God. Click here to read the transcripts and hear some of the teachings from this Bible study series. Please remember, we are no longer meeting in Uxbridge Meeting Hall.
Over the last few months or so (7 to be precise), quite a lot has been going on behind the scenes. Amongst many things, my wife (Simi) and I we have been praying and seeking God’s face in regards to a new church plant. I haven’t communicated much details just yet and for a good reason too. I want the Lord’s peace about everything we put our hand to, and equally just as important, the scrutiny of Godly men and their leadership. A church plant is no joke and must be done in accordance to God’s revealed Word. This is not a social club or a charity we are starting. Far too often we see church planting done as if a gym or a restaurant was being opened. There is no speculation or room for doubt that God’s Word must dictate our methodology. Keep watching this space, I’ll keep you posted as best as I can with the who, what, where, why and whens.

Asian Language Bible Study
I am pleased to see our precious brother Sonny Simak obeying the call of God on his life. As part of our continued effort to teach God’s Word and make the truths of the Bible known, we are holding fortnightly Punjabi language Bible studies. Every other Wednesday evening, Sonny Simak is teaching those who are hungry for a Christ exalting Bible study which teaches the basic truths of the Bible in the Punjabi language. The versatility of the Punjabi language means those who understand hindi and urdu can also join us and learn with understanding. Click here for more or contact sonny@thatimayknowhim.co.uk
Prayer and Bible Study
We have by God’s good grace and providence been given use a St. Leonard’s church in Richings Park. Rev. Tim Eady and the elders at St. Peter’s Iver have kindly given us use for a weekly Bible study or prayer time. We are still planning what day and time we will make use of the church to be most effective in this area. Click here to see where it is.
Football Fellowship
I love playing football. I love the opportunity to influence people and what better way to do this than a bunch of lads playing regular, weekly football. Every Thursday evening we’ve attempted to recreate some world cup fun by starting a football fellowship. We kick off each Thursday evening, 8pm at Brunel University in Uxbridge. Fancy playing with us, contact sunny@thatimayknowhim.co.uk or call him on 07852 233 347
