Sunday Evening Service
We long to see many of your faces again and continue our fellowship with you. Since my last email update about three weeks ago, there have been many new developments which you may be interested to hear about. It was great to see so many of you attend our last Bible study on Friday 25th June. I give thanks to God for all that He is doing in our midst. His providence has been clearly felt and seen and we rejoice in it.
Church Plant Launch
We had a chance at the end of the last Bible study to take a brief walk to the new premises where the Church plant would meet. You may even remember that Sunday 18th July 2010 was announced as the first Sunday service. However, it appears that God has different plans and purposes for us than we had originally intended. The youth community hall owners are not able to give us the keys until early September, in order to carry out essential building maintenance. At first this was disappointing for us, but I soon remembered George Mueller’s gracious spirit in receiving contrary news and how he would examine his own heart and continue trusting in the leading of the Lord. We have taken this news as from the Lord and dare not act in haste.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…Jeremiah 29:11
Whilst we have struggled and strived to find a place to meet for fellowship in Uxbridge, the Lord has graciously provided an even better place for us to fellowship. We will therefore be meeting every Sunday evening beginning at 7pm at St. Leonard’s Church in Richings Park. This evening service will begin on Sunday 18th July. It is a 10-15 minute drive from Uxbridge town centre. Lord willing, come September we shall also begin our Sunday morning service at 11am in Uxbridge town centre. We would ask you to prayerfully bring this matter before the Lord.
The chapel can be found on St. Leonards Walk. Click here for address and details. Here is the full address: St. Leonards Church, St. Leonards Walk, Richings Park, Buckinghamshire.
We do also hope to begin Bible study and a time of prayer at the same address and hope many of you can come and join us for a time of worshipping the Lord.
