Yesterday evening I was reminded again of the greatness of the LORD. During a prayer meeting in Wood Green (North London), several of us had the privilege of hearing what God is doing among the nations. We were delighted to hear that God truly is glorifying Himself and is most worthy to be praised. We were even more delighted to hear that the LORD God has not given up on any nation. A few weeks ago, I felt the need to read the biography of a missionary. I think it was spurred on by my recent attendance at the Grace Baptist Mission 150th anniversary celebration, where I sat in awe listening to the stories of missionaries serving all over the world. This Christmas, Grace Community Church in Richings Park will be supporting the work of Brunel University and Mustard Seed Relief Mission by packing, wrapping and sending Christmas shoe boxes to children in Eastern Europe. The Christmas Shoe Box Appeal, called Love in a Box is an annual tradition at Brunel to provide gifts to children who have very little.
