Yesterday evening I was reminded again of the greatness of the LORD. During a prayer meeting in Wood Green (North London), several of us had the privilege of hearing what God is doing among the nations. We were delighted to hear that God truly is glorifying Himself and is most worthy to be praised. We were even more delighted to hear that the LORD God has not given up on any nation. As we prayed our hearts burned within us. Read more.

| November 26, 2011 | 0 Comments

A few weeks ago, I felt the need to read the biography of a missionary. I think it was spurred on by my recent attendance at the Grace Baptist Mission 150th anniversary celebration, where I sat in awe listening to the stories of missionaries serving all over the world. Humbled and inspired is how I left. Read more.

This is a thing of great joy that in 2011, men and women the world over, enabled by God’s grace continue to go to the nations to make famous His name through the salvation of lost souls. Read more.

I once heard that living the Christian life is to live a life of correction. We are born sinners by nature, and after we recognise Jesus as Lord, the Holy Spirit constantly corrects us in the ways of God. It’s our responsibility to listen to this gentle correction and maintain a teachable heart, even when God uses other people in the church to correct us. Read more.

The Language of False Teachers

| September 26, 2011 | 4 Comments

Every so often I flick through the channels of UK Christian television. Sometimes, very rarely, I see some God-centred, Christ honouring and Biblically saturated resources. Things which bring glory to God and edify my walk in Christ. But the sad reality is that on most occasions I have to switch it off because it vexes my spirit. Today was one of those days.
