The Devils Persuasion

1 Peter 5:8 tells us to be vigilant because the devil goes back and forth like a roaring like, always scheming a way to draw us away from Christ, seeking whom he may devour. We are called to be vigilant of his schemes and devices. This short sketch was written as the Lord was showing me how the young Christian often follows the devil because their hearts have never been regenerated by God in the first place.

So Distant was a poem I wrote when I thought I was a Christian when I truly wasn’t. I thought I was saved but in fact I wasn’t. A false hope of salvation is the worst place a Christian can be in. The Church, preachers and evangelists have a great responsibility to preach the pure Gospel of Salvation.

For Consider Him

For Consider Him

Hebrews 12:3 tells us to consider Him. Consider Him for a moment before you rant on about your own selfish desires, needs, wants and ambitions. Consider Him, being in the form of God, was hung on a tree like a common criminal. I wrote this was poem several years ago and it still breaks my heart and humbles me. May the Lamb that was slain receive the rewards of His suffering.
