The fact that pain poses what some consider a serious problem to Christian theology should not be ignored, rather Christians should seek to show that while pain exists, there is more to the story of pain than pointing the finger at God with the idea that he is some sort of Sadist. God has been merciful to Paul and has given him plentiful even in the midst of great loss. Read more.
