When man looks at the state of this world and sees all the suffering and evil, whether physical, mental, emotional, or natural, he is often very quick to point the finger of blame at God or use the reality of pain and suffering to argue against the very existence of such a being. The fact that pain poses what some consider a serious problem to Christian theology should not be ignored, rather Christians should seek to show that while pain exists, there is more to the story of pain than pointing the finger at God with the idea that he is some sort of Sadist.
