The BBC has recently reported in pictures on the ‘The sad decline of the Great British Pub’. Apparently, it appears that British pubs are closing in the bucket load all across the country. You can see the pictures below. But the question remains – what is replacing the pubs? Where are the drinkers going? What new amusement or pass time are the locals now indulging in?
There are over 10,000 conferences that happen every year. The ‘Revival Conference’ is not to be just another conference but a honest, sincere, earnest plea for the desperate need of revival. There is no cost to attend the event. No materials will be sold. There will be no big bands. The conference will have the chief object to be God-glorifying. The speakers will come on their own accord trusting God for provision. There will be no emphasis on money during the event. It was a great privilege to see Greg Gordon preaching at Southall Church of God on 08/11/2008. He is the founder of “Sermon Index” website which we are all aware of. God had really blessed his ministry to reach out to the lost as well as believers. He passionately shared the message “revival of evangelical truth” and here are some of the points he made about today’s church ministry.
